Identity and account information

When you create an account or sign in, Luma Convert uses Kinde as its authentication provider. We receive basic account information such as your email address, your Kinde user ID, and account-level flags needed to determine features such as Pro access.

Files you upload

Files you submit are processed only for the purpose of completing the conversion you requested. We do not present the service as permanent cloud storage for original or converted files, and provider-generated download links may expire.

Conversion history

Conversion history is stored locally in your browser only for signed-in Pro users. Free users do not receive saved conversion history. Local browser history may be deleted if you clear site data, switch devices, or use private browsing modes.

Usage controls and advertising

Luma Convert applies product rules to free usage, including file-size limits, daily conversion limits, and ad-gated access flows. These controls are used to operate the service, prevent abuse, and support the free plan.

Third-party services

We rely on third-party providers to operate parts of the service, including authentication providers, conversion infrastructure, hosting, analytics or advertising tools if enabled, and payment or subscription tooling if introduced. Those providers may process data as needed to perform their services.

Retention and control

We aim to keep only the data needed to operate the service. Because some history is stored locally in your browser, you can remove that information by clearing your browser storage for the site. If you stop using the service, your ability to access provider-generated links may end when those links expire.
